Willpower...!!!...

On the 24th December my beloved teacher enlightened the gathering with concise advice in reference to WILLPOWER and determination.

Today we are in such a society that we confront many challenges and we also recognize them. However we must also acknowledge how to combat it and know how to go about it.

When one reads "LAILAHA ILLALLAH", it is not only sufficient for him because Allah Subhanahu Wata'alla mentions throughout the Qur'an, "Iman and Amal Saleh (good deeds)", one should have Iman and perform good deeds.

If one accepts Lailaha Illallah then he/ she must act upon the commands of Allah and carry out good deeds.

There are three major things that prevents one doing so:

1.Nafs (one's ego)
2.Shaytaan
3.Society

We will be able to avert both the NAFS and SHAYTAAN but then comes society. We mustn't let that be our weakness. We must try and overcome it by developing our Willpower and determination. When we have created that Willpower! Allah will love us. He has given this quality to everyone, both Muslims and non-Muslims, such as: Isaac Newton & Einstein

Newton:
Once he compiled his "Laws of motion" after much effort. Then there came a day, when he went out the room due to human necessities and returned. He saw that all his work had caught fire because of a candle. He did not get disappointed over this tragedy however, used is as motivation and did all his work again. He had that willpower!

Einstein:
He was travelling one day. Then the bus conductor gave him a negative remark about his mathematics. Since then he was determined to be good at maths and created the works "The theory of relativity".

If we have firm believe in Allah then we should be more determined on achieving our goal.

We have to be Enthusiastic.
We can only create this willpower to be steadfast on Deen, if we have the love for Allah.
1. Create that willpower. How?
2. Create the love for ALLAH. How?
3. To be in the company of those, who love ALLAH
Company makes an effect!
May Allah make me amongst them...Ameen
