On Wednesday the 14Th February 2007, my respected teacher articulated on the topic Sweetness of Imaan (faith) and love for Allah. As you all may have noticed my respected teacher delivers his discourses mainly on one topic Love. Acknowledge, as this Love for Allah will take us to appreciate and obey him sincerely.
Anas bin Malik (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet (PBUH) said,
"There are three qualities whoever has them, will taste the sweetness of Iman: To love Allah and His Messenger (PBUH) more than anyone else; to love a servant (of Allah) only for (the sake of) Allah; and to abhor returning to infidelity after Allah has saved him from it as he would abhor to be thrown into the fire (of Hell)".
(Al-Bukhari and Muslim).
When one loves his/hers beloved, they will sacrifice themselves to them and will do everything it takes to maintain their delectation.
My esteemed teacher reminds us of a quote:
"A lover surrenders to his beloved"
May Allah give us Taufique, Ameen
