Dars of Hadeeth on 29th Wednesday

Yesterday, Shaykh spoke about the Hajj in the weekly Wednesday lesson.....

Hadeeth by Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه,who narrates that:

Rasulullah صلي الله عليه و سلم was asked,
"what are the best deeds?"

"Having faith in Allah and His Rasul (صلي الله عليه و سلم )"...

It is essential for every person to have faith. Not having faith is a grave sin and all his other good actions will also be in ruin as Allah says in Qur'an...

"As for those who disbelieve, their deeds are like a mirage in a desert. The thirsty one thinks it to be water, until he comes up to it, he finds it to be nothing, but he finds Allah with him, who will pay him his due (Hell). And Allâh is Swift in taking account"
(24:39)

Example from my Respected Teacher:

"When one wears new clothes and falls into dirt, his clothes are dirty; So when a person does good deeds whilst committing "shirk" it is like good deeds covered in dirt"

Non-believers, who do charitable work, are doing good deeds, but commit "shirk". Those people will receive their reward in the world but not in the hereafter. Those, who believe and do good deeds, will receive reward in the world and the hereafter
INSHA'ALLAH

Further on....

"The best deed is, Jihad in the path of Allah سبجانه و تعالي and Accepted Hajj"...
(Bukhari)

If we are going for Hajj then we should aim for an accepted Hajj "Maqbool Hajj".
Whilst performing Hajj:

*One must avoid committing major and minor sins

If one cannot perform many good deeds, however one must stay away from class sins inshallah his/her's Hajj will be accepted by Allah subhana wa'tallah. If that's the case...

*One will return as though he/she is pure and sinless as he was at the time of his birth

My respected Teacher gave a very amazing example on this statement:

"When our clothes become dirty, we give them a spin in the washing machine; hence when we become dirty with our bad deeds, Allah gives us 7 spins (tawaaf) and then we too become clean."

As Rasulullah سلي الله عليه و سلم said,

"Whoever performs the Hajj and commits no lustful acts during it nor disobeys Allah (in any other way) shall return from it, as pure and sinless as he was at the time of his birth."
(Bukhari,Muslim)

May Allah increase the knowledge of My Respected Teacher and let us all benefit from it. Aameen.

Love for Allah

This Dua'aa is often recited by My Respected Teacher, which keeps me in wonder:

Transliteration

"Allahuma inni asaluka hubbuk wa hubb Rasulika sallallahu alaihi wassalam, wa hubba mai yuhibbuka"

Translation

"O Allah, I ask of you Your love and the love for Rasool صلي الله عليه و سلم and the love of those who love You.."

1) To Love Rasoolullah صلي الله عليه و سلم is to love Allah سبحانه و تعالي.

2) To have love for the companions, family and friends of صلي الله عليه و سلم is to love Allah سبحانه و تعالي.

3) Love for one's spiritual guide is also due to love of Allah

According to My respected Teacher:

"love for the creation darkens one's heart, to overcome that darkeness one must bring a light to overcome it, and that light is to Love Allah"

According to a book:

"True Love illuminates the heart; where as metophorical love darkens it"...

Both these sayings tell us to bring the true love for ALLAH into our HEARTS..

Words of My Respected Teacher:

"ALLAH IS OUR ULTIMATE GOAL...INSHALLAH!!!!"

How must I attain this goal?

* Dhikr .....

* Muraqabah.....(consciousness of Allah سبحانه و تعالي)

A Goldfish

Respected Teacher was explaining in his durs at the masjid, that we must always send Thawaab(reward) to others.

"Why do you want to be selfish? sending thawaab to others will also be written as Thawaab for you" and further on he said:

"Don't be selfish be a goldfish"

* Sending thawaab to others is not only benefiting them but yourself.

NIKAH (Marriage)

My respected teacher performed a Nikah today in Jame Masjid, Leicester and mentioned a few advices in brief at the end. Here is a summary of those advices:

* Nikah (marriage) is sent by Allah سبحانه و تعالي so that the human race can have "sukoon" contentment.

* "To run a big show you need a big heart".

* "Houses are built with hands, and homes are built with hearts".

* Always learn to forgive "Maafi" especially in marriage life.
